Captain Lee Godin is a lifetime resident of
upstate New York and the third generation of avid sportsmen,
following in the
footsteps of his Dad and Grand Dad. Since early childhood he began fishing with
them on a regular basis. As soon as it was legal Lee began hunting, bagging his
first buck, a 12-pointer at the age of 16.
He has hunted for most NYS big and
small game species and fished for many species over the years.
Regions 4 and 5 of upstate New York are "home territory" and Lee has spent many
hours exploring the woods,
streams and lakes in these regions. He has hunted and
fished all across New York state as well as most eastern states in pursuit of
geese, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, rabbits, squirrels, bear, deer etc.
He has
also fished all across the east for many freshwater and saltwater varieties of
fish.
Oswego, New York is home port for the WER-ON-UM our 24' fully equipped Penn Yan
used to pursue
trophy salmon and trout on Lake Ontario.
Lee's goal as a guide is to provide an exciting outdoor experience that you will
not soon forget.
He also wants to instill in his clients a greater understanding and
respect for our natural resources.
He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience and hopes his guidance will help
you become
a better hunter or fisherman.
Lee hopes his guiding will give our youth an opportunity to experience the
enjoyment of
fishing, hunting, camping, hiking etc that they may not have
otherwise.
Captain Lee will do everything possible to make your trip successful and above all, a lot
of fun !!
